Mindful Web
When you open a selected website, Mindful Web covers it with a short exercise. Afterward, you choose whether to turn back or continue.
Take one slow breath
Get Mindful Web
We're preparing the first release for the Chrome Web Store. Safari for Mac will follow once its signed installation and update checks pass.
How it works
Mindful Web appears before selected feeds. It guides you through one instruction at a time, without filling the screen with explanations.
A quiet screen covers the feed before scrolling begins.
Complete a brief breathing, grounding, reflection or check-in exercise.
Turn back, or continue with a ten-minute break from further pauses.
Made for real moments
Choose the websites where you want Mindful Web to appear. Add or remove them at any time in Settings.
Mindful Web includes 11 exercises: guided breathing, grounding, tension release, observation, reading, intention setting and check-ins.
Automatic exercises give you three seconds to prepare. Others wait for your input. Sound is optional and off by default.
Your browser, your data
Settings, cooldowns and return counts stay in your browser's extension storage. Mindful Web does not save check-in answers or intentions.
Copy puts the completed check-in on your clipboard. Open WhatsApp passes the prepared message to WhatsApp, where you choose whether to send it.

Check that Mindful Web is enabled and allowed on the website. Add the website to the list in Mindful Web Settings, save, then reload the page. Direct YouTube videos, Shorts, live streams, clips and embeds skip the pause.
Open Mindful Web from your browser's extensions menu. You can change websites, reading reminders and topic filters there. Use the speaker inside an exercise to change sound. Clear exercise history resets exercise choices, cooldowns, sound preferences and return counts.
Choose a value for all four scales, then copy the check-in or open it in WhatsApp. Navigation appears after either action.
Include your browser, operating system and what happened. Leave out check-in answers and other personal information.
